Authorities

Highway authorities are the organisations that are legally responsible for maintaining public roads. Their boundaries frequently, but not always, follow the boundaries of the local authorities of the same name. We have a list of all highway authorities, with information and a list of hazards for each, and a league table showing which local authorities are best at fixing their road defects and reporting back to us.
